How often are the property prices & lists updated?
Resale property in Turkey prices are usually updated once a month, new property in Turkey prices when they become available.

Do the prices include VAT ?
"Vat" is included in the new property prices.

What extra costs are involved ?
They usually say, allow 2 or 3% for legal fees etc.

Are these the actual/real prices ?

The prices of each property advertised are correct at time of publication. If you are wishing to pay in a different currency than that advertised the actual amount paid may change due to interest rates at the time.

How do I arrange an "Viewing Trip" ?
4 or 7 day inspection trips can be arranged for new property in Turkey by phoning us. They are usually one couple per representative, not a coach load so you are not viewing property someone else wants to see.

How long does the buying process take ?
With resale property in Turkey if you have the money, it can be done in 8-12 weeks! With new property in Turkey it can be done as soon as the villa / apartment is built, usually about 9 months- 12 months

"Viewing trips" what are they ?
They should be viewed as a relaxed business trip. They are heavily subsidised to enable you and your partner to view as many suitable new properties as possible. They include accommodation in a quality hotel or a villa 30 sterling a day. Everything is arranged for you.

How do I buy a property in Turkey?
It is very easy in Turkey, with the help of trained english speaking advisors, you will be guided every step of the way, help on opening a bank account, obtaining a tax number and transfering the title deed.

I'm going to Turkey to buy, what do I need to take?
Take a bankers draft for £2000 payable to yourself, that way if you see something you like, you can open a bank account and use that as a deposit, if you don't, you can bring it home and repay it into your bank account. It is almost impossible with "plastic" and can be very difficult with travellers cheques.

What are the running costs of a villa / apartment in Turkey ?
Generally a lot cheaper than in the UK ! We normally estimate that the annual cost for water, electricity and tax is approximately £300.

I,m thinking of renting it out after I've bought it, is that easy?
Yes, all you need is someone to manage / clean it. Through our rental site we will advertise it for you, we just charge a commision on any bookings we get for you. Our advice is get bookings from wherever you can !

How much rent will I get ?
Between 250 and 500 sterling a week.

How many weeks a year will I be able to rent out?
It really depends on how much effort / marketing you put into it. Remember friends and relations are a "pain", they always want it cheap! The peak months are easy.

Where can I get reasonable flights?
There are a wide selection of flights available throughout the year to Turkey. The New Dalaman International Airport is now open and they are excepting more passengers this year. Flights in the winter are available through Holidays 4 U flying from Manchester and Gatwick.

I'm thinking of living there, is that possible ?
If you are a UK / EU citizen no problem, you just get a residents permit when you get there.

What about schools ?
There are English and Turkish schools. I've never heard bad reports on any. With the Turkish schools it seems to be the same as the UK, it depends on where you live as to what school you get allocated.

What about working in Turkey ?
Again, no problem once you've got your residents permit.

What about mortgages ?
At the moment is not a possibility to get a mortgages for non Turkish citizens.
